With more than 15 years of backcountry experience throughout the Northwest, I am an outdoor professional and technical instructor focused on practical field skills, wilderness operations, and preparedness for remote and demanding conditions.

My career combines hands-on field experience with professional instruction. I have served as an advisor and instructor for law enforcement teams, developing and delivering training in night-vision operations, navigation in low- and no-light conditions, and realistic scenario-based exercises.

My experience is grounded in more than 15 years of personal mountaineering, hunting, and multi-day wilderness travel. I bring that practical knowledge together with a strong commitment to medical preparedness, risk management, and responsible stewardship of the outdoors.

Whether working in complex mountain terrain, teaching practical field skills, or supporting teams operating in remote areas and limited-visibility conditions, my approach is centered on safety, sound decision-making, attention to detail, and helping people be better prepared for the situations they may encounter.
